We are honored to receive this award, being featured as a 2022 Branding ...
Overview
A design system can help brands develop more consistent user experiences quickly while strengthening their identity.
With online and offline touchpoints becoming more and more intertwined for many brands, coherent user experience can be achieved by creating a central design language.
We can define the Design System as a set of rules and guidelines that help maintain consistency and continuity within a digital ecosystem. It is important to highlight that each Design System is designed tailored to the reality on which it will exist: the objectives and characteristics of the brand for which we are working will define the contents of the system.
Our Process
A design system is usually built over time, by using an iterative or agile approach.
We start by looking at the existing brand guidelines and we identify the key visual components that form the digital environment such as buttons, form elements, icons, illustrations, images, font styles, margins, spacing, and colour palettes.
Afterward, we create a library of UI elements centered around the best practices of UX and UI design and we integrated them as modular elements in the design application Sketch.
