Colm, mid-40s has a comfortable life: a managerial job in Dublin’s docks, two teenage children, and a kind, loyal wife in Claire. After the death of his father, a destructive figure, Colm’s emotional life cracks open, and his downward spiral continues when he is made redundant. Drinking heavily and unable to confide in Claire, Colm finds himself drawn to Jay, a 19-year-old who dabbles in prostitution. Their sexual encounters and tentative friendship become Colm’s only solace – but this recklessness puts his family-life at risk.
In order to promote the film Rialto, we implemented a strategic combination of digital advertising campaigns including Google display ads, Facebook/Instagram ads, Twitter ads, and branded videos.
Display campaigns utilized Google’s advanced audience targeting to reach new audiences, as well as segmented Display Remarketing to re-engage with known users.
In addition, branded videos and social media campaigns were executed to reach higher-intent audiences interested in cinemas, drama movies, etc.
Alongside these campaigns, we set up multi-style ads implemented with high-end press releases to intelligently reach targeted audiences.
We have seen exceptional results since introducing the above approach to Rialto’s campaign. Overall, the campaigns achieved the client’s goal of increasing awareness of the sales by generating a large number of impressions and clicks among audiences targeted.
